As we grow, we start to realize how much we are evolving. Our mindsets change as well as our ideas and certain perceptions. In our family, one thing I noticed in particular is the growth of Naynay & Taytay.

Their way of thinking goes way beyond the “typical” filipino parents’ mindset. Yes, they still want you to finish school, but for different reasons. Not to make a lot of money, but to make sure you are SAFE to do what you like to pursue. To make sure that if ever your plan fails, you are okay.I work in a cafe pursuing my dreams in a beautiful industry. Naynay & Taytay show the most support and value happiness over anything.

All this to say that you are doing AMAZING and as your older brother, I am so proud of you. Of how much you’ve grown as an individual and I’m not always home to be with you guys, but I’m most of the times thinking and very passionately speaking about you, Jamie, and Naynay & Taytay.

You amaze me every single day. You are not an ordinary 17 year old. You are years/decades in advance and should take all your thoughts as blessings.

Don’t be too harsh on yourself. Naynay & Taytay wouldn’t like for you to stress yourself too much. 1 thing I noticed over the course of the years is how different they act towards us. They are the kindest & sweetest and that is because they know they can trust their sons.

You are perfect as you are.
